The Zahra Studio was founded by artist, Justin Zahra.

Justin’s desire to paint stemmed from his love of martial arts, surfing and hot rods!  Following a teacher’s advice to paint more about the feeling than the object, Justin started “moving my brush like it was a board on water” and his passion for abstract art was born.

It wasn’t until after Justin travelled Australia, painting as he went, that someone asked him to create his first piece of sculpture – a bird.  Justin then realised there was an endless scope in sculpture creation – something he couldn’t necessarily achieve with painting – and went on to produce pieces made of steel, timber, perspex, aluminium, and stainless steel, gradually expanding his range to include furniture.
